Attention all volleyball team members - stop by the office sometime today to pick up information about your upcoming lock-in.
Attention any girls interested in playing GHMS Softball next fall - there is an information meeting in Mr. Vaughan's room next Thursday, May 4, at 11:10. Please plan to attend if you plan to try out for the team.

Congratulations to Calvin Haynes & Grace Tyra who were selected to be honored at the Illinois Principal's Association annual Student Recognition Breakfast to be held Monday, May 1st! We are so proud of both of you!
MAP testing continues starts today for 6th grades. Please do your best. There will be treats for all students who make their student growth goal. Please remember to be extra quiet in the halls during testing week. thank you!
The annual all-school Art Show will be held tomorrow night from 6:30-7:30. Bring your parents, grandparents, and friends! Show them all the cool artwork you've created this year. Refreshments will be provided.
Don't forget about collecting Coins for Kids all week!

Attention school play members! You have play practice this afternoon at Great Oaks until 4:45.
Congratulations to the 7th grade track teams! The girls team DOMINATED the meet on Saturday, taking many 1st, 2nd, and 3rd's with many girls setting new personal bests. They are also now conference champions! Way to go, girls!

Congratulations to both Scholastic Bowl teams who won their matches against District #50 Beverly Manor last night! The top scorer for the A team was Brooke Barlow, and, for the B Team, Carson Jones!

7th grade science students are reminded to wear OLD clothes and closed-toe shoes this week during dissection.
Congratulations to the boys track team who earned a 1st place trophy last Friday night at the Wildcat Invitational! The team competed against over 10 other teams including some of the top teams in the area! Way to go, boys!! The following boys earned personal medals:
Luke Phillips - 3rd place Hurdles
Evan Johnson - 2nd place Mile & 800m
Hunter Roedell - 1st place Mile
Caleb Welsh - 2nd place 400m & tied for 3rd in High Jump
Jaylan Williams - 1st place 200m Dash
Jeremy Haines - 3rd place 800m
